About Naneka Brathwaite
Naneka Brathwaite is an experienced educator and lifelong learner with 10 years of classroom experience teaching middle school math and science in New York City. Brathwaite has a diverse background as a Grades K–12 math and science content specialist and professional learning coach and has also worked in turnaround and transformation schools as a mathematics instructional facilitator through a program founded at Johns Hopkins University School of Education. A passionate educational equity advocate, she believes that when educators plan and prepare with the most marginalized and underserved students in mind, all students can thrive.
